Joe Stutzman

Owner/President

Hi, my name is Joe Stutzman. I am the owner and president of GrowJoy. I started GrowJoy as an extension of my love for gardening. My goal was to grow healthy plants to help other people experience the same joy that I received. It has been my absolute pleasure to work with so many fine people over the years here at GrowJoy, including now my entire family.

When I am not working with plants, I enjoy spending time with my family and being a grandparent. I also enjoy spending time riding my motorcycle and watching my favorite teams play football and basketball.

My favorite plant is the Pineapple Tomato.

Chris Stutzman

COO/Marketing

Hi, my name is Chris Stutzman, I am the Chief Operations Officer here, and I joined GrowJoy in 2017. Before taking this role, I served many other roles inside GrowJoy, such as: Marketing Director, Operations Director, Customer Service Representative, label maker, and general gopher in my early days.

When I’m not at work I enjoy playing with my wife and dog, Slade, watching college football, cheering on the Hoosiers, and trying all kinds of different foods.

My favorite plant is the Barbara Karst Bougainvillea.

Tina Miller

Customer Service

Hi, my name is Tina Miller, and I am the Customer Service Manager at GrowJoy. Throughout the years I have done many different jobs at GrowJoy including anything customer service related, helping out on the site, packing and label maker. I enjoy working with customers the most though.

I have 4 small children and my life is filled with their problems and joys. I am very thankful to be able to work from home so I can still take care of them. I enjoy traveling with them and my husband. I also love watching pretty much any form of football from the high school level to the NFL.

My favorite plant is the Elegant Candy Daylily.

Stefni Childs

Inventory Controller

I’m Stefni Childs and am the Inventory Controller at GrowJoy. I started working at GrowJoy again in August of 2021 part-time and then started working full time in January of 2022. Prior to this I spent nine years teaching high school social studies, mainly economics and government to juniors and seniors.

While I loved teaching, I was looking for a job that would allow me to be home with my kids more, GrowJoy allows for that and I get to work with my family again. I’ve worked for GrowJoy prior to this, actually was with the company when it was started as Garden Harvest Supply, and have done pretty much every job.

My favorite plant is the Silver Falls Dichondra.

David Rodriguez

Plant Care Manager

Hi, my name is David Rodriguez. I'm the Plant Care Manager at GrowJoy and have been working here since the spring of 2022. When I started at GrowJoy I worked in different jobs within the shipping process before moving up to taking care of all our plants. The one thing I love most about my job is seeing the plants grow from small plugs to the plants we ship out.

When I'm not at work I enjoy baseball, fishing, gaming online, and trying out different foods with my wife and son.

My favorite plant is the Indivisa Spikes Dracaena.

Nick Stutzman

Office Assistant

Hi, my name is Nick Stutzman. I'm the Office Assistant at GrowJoy and have been working here since the summer of 2020. I've worked in a few different roles since starting here, including helping water plants, process orders, and even pick up deliveries. One thing I love about my job is helping othes when their plates are full with other responsibilites.

When I'm not at work I enjoy cooking, playing online video games, and learning Japanese (I lived there for about 4 months in 2023).

My favorite plant is the Americana White Geranium.

Daniel Stutzman

Facility Maintenance Manger

Hi, my name is Daniel Stutzman. I'm the Facility Maintenance Manager at GrowJoy and have been working here since 2012. I do everything from organizing the warehouse to updating electrical systems around the property. One thing I love about my job is keeping all our supplies and the warehouse organized.

When I'm not at work I enjoy growing vegetables in my own garden and reading.

My favorite plant is the Bush Goliath Tomato.

Rita Kaehr

Plant Care Specialist

Hi, my name is Rita Kaehr. I'm a Plant Care Specialist at GrowJoy and have been working here since the spring of 2019. My job consists of checking the plants for pests and trimming them to make sure they stay nice and full for shipping. The thing I love most about my job is taking care of all the flowers and seeing all the beautiful and different blooms.

When I'm not at work I enjoy bowling, fishing, sewing clothes, and taking care of my own gardens.

My favorite plant is the SuperTrouper Orange Dianthus.

Jim LeFever

Plant Care Specialist

Hi, my name is Jim LeFever. I'm a Plant Care Specialist at GrowJoy and have been working here since 2023. I do many of the same things as Rita, like trimming plants and checking for pests. I really do enjoy trimming all of the plants and shrubs to make them look their best, it's the thing I love most about my job.

When I'm not at work I enjoy growing my own plants, raising all kinds of animals, and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers.

My favorite plant is the SunPatiens Hot Coral Impatiens.
