Aristo® Burgundy Regal Geranium Plants feature early blooming burgundy-red flowers that fade slightly to deep magenta as the blossoms age. The dense, large-leafed, bright green foliage supports a cap of heavy blossoms, looking kind of like an elaborate Easter bonnet! Regal geraniums put on their best show in partial sun locations with well-drained soil! If grown indoors as a houseplant, they prefer the sun from a south or west facing window. If grown outdoors, they prefer filtered sunlight in areas protected from the rain. Also keep in mind that they do not like hot conditions, so if grown outside and the temps get above 85 degrees for an extend period, they will stop flowering. They will re-flower again once the outside temps drop below 75 degrees. Allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering.

Comment: This is a most beautiful geranium. In a short month it grew considerably and it’s not putting out a vast amount of darling magenta flowers. Yes, Magenta. Not sure if the wrong one was sent to me or what but the flowers are more purple than burgundy. Just the same, it is lovely and I’m very pleased with it.

Comment: As with the other Geraniums that were in the order, I gave them a rest, cooled them down, let them soak their roots, cleaned up the leaves, put them in a new home.

Comment: In my 50 some years I have never, ever bought a live plant in the mail. I figured if I can find it online, I can find it local. My Husband and I looked and looked for this plant local and had no luck...so out of desperation I ordered it from GrowJoy. My oh my, why did I wait so long, the plant arrived ALIVE and looking good. We are so pleased with our purchase!
