August Moon Hosta Plants offer corrugated, ridged leaves of bright gold and chartreuse that have thick substance and excellent slug resistance. Plants are tolerant of full sun, which will intensify the gold color in the foliage, but must be provided adequate moisture. Produces pale-lavender bell-shaped flowers. The foliage brings wonderful color and texture to the garden! Plantain lilies thrive when grown in moist soils with between 2-5 hours of sun. Plants should be divided every 3-5 years. Its best to do so in the fall right before the first frost. Hummingbirds and bees are attracted to it flowers.
