Autumn Spice Igloo is a medium-sized garden mum that has bright orange-bronze decorative flowers. These flowers are warmer in color than those of the 'Harvest Igloo' variety and are 2 inches in diameter. The plants have a uniform flowering and form a beautiful, ball-shaped habit with a height of up to 2 feet and a width of 2.5 feet. They are perfect for adding flower power to a late summer or early fall perennial border or a large container and are winter hardy down to zone 5.
Autumn Spice Igloo Perennial Mum Plant Care Instructions: Keep plants moist and well feed. A weekly application of a water soluble fertilizer works best. Snip off any flowers that start blooming early. When the flowers start showing color in the fall, stop fertilizing. Continue to keep the plants moist. After the first hard frost, the plant can be cut back to the ground. A heavy application of mulch is beneficial.
