Blue Angel Hosta Plants produce huge, heart-shaped leaves on mounds of foliage that have a flowing appearance. Plants hold color best when grown in full shade. Flowers appear atop the foliage on tall scapes in midsummer. More resistant to slugs than other varieties. This large blue is impressive! Plantain lilies thrive when grown in moist soils. Plants should be divided every 3-5 years; its best to do so in the fall right before the first frost. Hummingbirds and bees are attracted to it flowers.
