The Blue Butterfly Delphinium Plant is a dwarf variety with flowers of a blue hue not often found on perennials. Unlike other Larkspur, Blue Butterfly's flowers grow profusely on the whole plant, rather than on spikes, almost hiding the foliage when in full bloom. It's mounding growing habit and miniature size makes this Larkspur perfect as a front border plant. Known to attract butterflies!

Comment: The Butterfly Blue Delphinium I ordered arrive in 90-degree-plus heat looking healthy and full of blooms! I put it in the ground immediately and I didn't experience any of the usual wilting or die-off with it at all - it continues to bloom and looks great. Shorter than other Delphiniums you might be used to, it is still a wonderful addition to the front of a sunny garden. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
