Blue Lake S-7 is a pole bean variety that produces tasty, stringless, 6 - 7 inch pods on 7 foot vines. They are great for canning, freezing and fresh eating. As with other pole beans, you will need a trellis or some type of support system as they climb. Beans are best when harvest young. For maximum yields, keep them picked throughout the season. Blue Lake S-7 plants have sparse foliage, making picking a breeze. It will become your favorite!
We grow our Blue Lake S-7 plants organically and guarantee them to arrive alive and thriving.

Comment: Adapted quickly in my raised bed garden. I applied a tomato cage over them and now they are crawling up the cage from all angles. I wish I could send a photo!

Comment: Plants come in their own little pots, complete with plastic bag for water conservation. Water them soon after you unpack the box and then transplant them. Don't leave them sitting in water. Bad for the roots

Comment: Six to seven inches tall right out of the box and reaching for anything to grow on! They are now in my garden growing up a trellis. These beans will accommodate many dinners this summer and some will be frozen and enjoyed during the holidays this year.
