Born To Run Hemerocallis being an early midseason bloomer, this daylily boasts the daylilies ability to survive harsh conditions and weather. 'Born To Run' Hemerocallis Daylilies blooms flowers that are rosy red petals that have a creamy yellow eye. Growing to be 6 inches wide and up to 28 inches in height, this daylily will fit in any type of garden! Born To Run ships as a bare root. We like growing from bare roots because they establish quickly, become twice the size of a potted plant in the first season, and eliminate the need for plastic pots (a win for the environment).

Born To Run Hemerocallis Plant Care: Besides apply water if the plant starts looking droopy (which is practically never), there is not much else this plant needs. The flower stalks can be cut back after the plant is done blooming for the season. Dividing daylilies is not necessary unless you don't want them spreading. Division can be done in early fall when the foliage is being cut back to the ground.
