Candy Stripe Creeping Phlox produces pink center striped, white-edged blooms to go along with red, star-shaped centers and semi-evergreen foliage. It makes a great addition to any rock garden, foundation, or as an edging plant. Companion Planting: Aster, Echinacea, Eupatorium, Fuchsia, Geranium, Salvia Candy Stripe Creeping Phlox Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 3-4 weeks. For continuous flowering keep the soil most, 2-3 inches of mulch will help. Early spring a great time to add fertilizer, another application can be applied in June. Creeping phlox should be trimmed back by 1 inch after flowering is done each spring. Because it is an evergreen it should never be cut back to the ground. Roots can be divided every 4 years in early fall.

Comment: I bought more Candy Stripe Phlox this year as last year's purchase did so well. They come small but by the following spring they become good size and bloom vigorously. Great colors!
