Cara Mia Yellow Echinacea Plant Care Instructions: Only water if the plant starts looking droopy. Spent flowers should NOT be trimmed back if you want to attract songbirds as they enjoy the dried seed heads. Cut it back to the ground in late winter or early spring before the new growth starts. Spring is a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.

Comment: I am writing this about Growjoy's perennials. I have shopped with them for 2 years now and have purchased over 60 perennials. Everyone has been super healthy and in perfect shape upon arrival. I have only lost one plant out of the 60 and that was my fault as I put it in a corner and forgot to water it.
