Carolyn Wharton Caladium Plant Care Instructions: If grown indoors as a houseplant, the plant will need misted regularly or the container can be placed on top of a pebble filled tray with water. If grown outdoors in a container, plants need watered daily. If grown in the soil, watering can be less frequently if mulch is used. Once the foliage starts dying back in the fall, cut the stems back to the soil. Dig up the tubers and store them for the winter.
