Cheyenne Spirit Mix Echinacea Plant Care Instructions: Only water if the plant starts looking droopy. Spent flowers should NOT be trimmed back if you want to attract songbirds as they enjoy the dried seed heads. Cut it back to the ground in late winter or early spring before the new growth starts. Spring is a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.

Comment: Just received my shipment of Echinacea a little less than a week ago. The plants were perfectly packed: though the box had been a bit crushed by USPS, everything inside was perfectly intact! I immediately transplanted them into 10 pots and within an hour they were perking up (they had been in transit for 5 days, after all). Every single plant not only survived but are now thriving in the garden!
