Plant Features

Christmas Fern Plant produces fuzzy, silvery-gray fiddleheads that emerge in spring and mature into glossy, green, leathery fronds that form upright clusters. When planted in ideal moist, well-drained soil conditions, Christmas fern establishes quite well. An evergreen fern, as fronds remain green through winter, hence the common name Christmas fern.
