Plant Features
Our Coral Porterweed Plant is larger and more floriferous than the native varieties, its salmony-orange blossoms measuring about 1/2 inch and growing along the entire length of its two to three foot stems. Its nectar-filled flowers draw butterflies and hummingbirds from far and wide throughout its continuously long season of flowering, even when it's hot and humid. Coral Porterweed is a reliable perennial, an evergreen in the warmest climes and may even return from the roots in zone 8 if mulched well.
