Plant Features
Coral Reef Bee Balm Plants features bright, showy, coral-pink flowers bloom in mid to late summer on this sturdy, upright beauty! Fragrant flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden and are great in cut arrangements. Monarda plants do best in moist soils.
Companion Planting: Achillea, Eupatorium, Grasses, Phlox, Salvia
Coral Reef Monarda Care: Plants should be always kept well-watered. The dried flowers produce a fruit that wild birds enjoy, so don’t cut back the plants back to the ground till late winter or early spring. Early spring is also a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.
