Cosmopolitan Phlox is just one of the newer varieties from Dutch breeder Jan Verschoor and is part of his Cocktail Series, a line of more compact summer Phlox. Cosmopolitan has florets that are the most amazing shade of deep pink with lavender-blue veining and shading but with a striking red eye that lends intense interest to this garden Phlox. There is no doubt that gardeners will soon be shortening its name to Cosmo as it becomes a customer favorite in gardens across the U.S. Known to attract butterflies!

Cosmopolitan Garden Tall Phlox Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 3-4 weeks. For continuous flowering keep the soil most, 2-3 inches of mulch will help. Early spring a great time to add fertilizer, another application can be applied in June. Tall phlox should have their tips trimmed back once the stems have grown about 6 inches in early spring. After the first hard frost they can be trimmed back to the ground.
