The Denver Daisy Rudbeckia Plant produces 6-8 inch, brilliant yellow blossoms, and has a deep red halo surrounding each chocolate-brown colored eye. Best grown as an annual but may self-sow. They grow best in full sun and well-drained soil. Deadheading to encourage prolific bloom, leaving some of the last seed heads to remain for winter food for seed eating wild birds. Black-eyed Susan plants attracts butterflies while deer avoid them!
Companion Planting: Aster, Chrysanthemum, Crocosmia, Eryngium, Grasses, Salvia

Comment: Beautiful contrast in color, different from other variety I had in the past. I am hoping this one is a true perennial because the 2 I had planted in different areas last year did not come back. Such a pretty plant all together
