Plant Features
Our Dwarf Red Porterweed Plant is one of the smallest varieties, this petite specimen being ideal for front of the border in butterfly gardens and for striking color and height in mixed containers. The delicate, red blossoms measure about 1/4 of an inch and can be blooming at any point along the stem at any given time. Not quite as hardy as the larger varieties, adequate mulching may allow it to come back from the roots in the spring in areas with mild winters; it will reliably reseed in those areas as well.
