Earth Angel Hosta Plants produce large, blue-green leaves edged in chartreuse that will gradually soften to creamy white. The heart-shaped leaves have a thick substance and provide a nice backdrop to pale lavender flowers that bloom in midsummer. Plantain lilies thrive when grown in moist soils with between 2-5 hours of sun. Plants should be divided every 3-5 years; its best to do so in the fall right before the first frost. Hummingbirds and bees are attracted to it flowers.
