Elijah Blue is a compact fescue grass that forms clumps of finely textured, needle-like, powdery-blue foliage that holds it color well throughout the summer. Makes a nice accent for other plants. Seed heads appear in summer and age to a nice tan color that persists through winter. Plants do require division every couple of years. Does not do well in the hottest gardens.
