Ernest Markham Clematis Plants produce large, 4-6-inch magenta colored flowers in mid-summer. This climbing beauty is an award-winning variety that will put on a summertime show in your garden or container. Profuse bloomer! Clematis require moist soils to grow well. In northern gardens the do best in full sun but prefer lightly shaded areas in southern gardens.
