Plant Features

The Fireworks Fountain Grass Plant is not quite as hardy as many of the ornamental grasses, but possesses a 'Wow' Factor unlike any other and still exhibits the moderate salt tolerance our coastal gardeners appreciate. The variegated blades have longitudinal stripes that go from reddish-green to burgundy with white to hot pink margins. Slender pale red plumes appear in early summer, changing to purple as temperatures cool.

"Easy to grow pennisetum"

Comment: Gorgeous ornamental grass. Planted in mid May in South Georgia. Now in august is nearly reached mature size. Mixes well with my azaleas and roses. Already has its seed blooms out. Very little care required for it to show out. Get one if you don’t have one.
