Plant Features

Oregano-Golden Herb offers small oval leaves are a buttery golden color. A robust grower, it tends to spread less vigorously than others in the species, though it possesses the same noteworthy flavor and aroma. Its compact growing habit makes it desirable for smaller garden plots while its pink and purple decorative blossoms atop the unique foliage will add interest along walkways and borders. As a spice, use it as you would any variety of oregano, though it is not as strong as some varieties.

Comment: My order was received alive (very good sized) and very well packed. They have been planted in containers on my balcony and are flourishing. I have been ordering from GrowJoy for at least four years and have always been pleased with the results. Last year I placed my order a bit late and some of the herbs I wanted were no longer available. I ordered from two other sources and was extremely disappointed in the results. The plants were small and sickly looking and a couple did not survive.

Comment: Three years ago I found one little half dead plant and brought it home with me for my garden. Planted it in a planter area around our pool. Well that little plant with just a little water GLOWS golden yellow all summer, spring and fall. It is a creeper and has worked it's way around my phlox, day lillies, chives, etc. Not only does it look BEAUTIFUL, it highlights every plant it surronds.
