Hameln Dwarf Fountain Grass is wonderful for small spaces, If offers narrow green leaves that form finely textured mounds of foliage. The tidy clumps produce tons of fuzzy, tan-colored, bottle-brush seed heads in late summer. Plants create a wonderful backdrop for other fall blooming perennials and require excellent drainage, especially in winter.

Comment: If you like fountain grasses, this is a very easy grass to maintain. I planted it in clay/sand amended with compost, 1-2 months ago. I only kept it moist the first thing since then, I just let nature do the job. This fountain grass is short and has made a nice backdrop for white vincas. The rabbits who voraciously munch in back/front yards leave this alone (they even eat my pink muhlys!) I would buy more of the Hameln Dwarf without hesitation.
