Plant Features

Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf variety loaded with rich, fruity-tasting flowers. While commonly used in soaps, potpourri and the like, it's also used to sweeten deserts in the kitchen. Lavender grows best in full sun locations with well-drained soil, but can tolerate sandy soil. Comment: I'm so happy to have found organic lavender! I planted some of them in my Greenstalk planter where they are quite happy. The others I put into my deck railing planter. They aren't doing quite as well, simply because I have an adorable little chipmunk who loves to burrow in and hide nuts. He must be enjoying the fragrance too because I catch him napping beside it. Overall, Chipmunk and lavender are co-existing nicely.
