Plant Features
Ice Pink Igloo mum is a perennial with lively pink decorative flowers that begin blooming in September in the first year and August or earlier in subsequent years. These mums have a uniform mounding habit and attractive lobed green leaves that form a uniform, rounded mass without the need for pinching. They are winter hardy down to zone 5 and are excellent in mass plantings and mixed borders, providing much-needed color until frost. These mums have a domed habit with a height of up to 2 feet and a width of 2.5 feet and offer outstanding flower power in the late summer or early fall, making them perfect for adding color to a perennial border or a large container. They have very uniform flowering and form beautiful ball-shaped habits.

Ice Pink Igloo Perennial Mum Plant Care Instructions: Keep plants moist and well feed. A weekly application of a water soluble fertilizer works best. Snip off any flowers that start blooming early. When the flowers start showing color in the fall, stop fertilizing. Continue to keep the plants moist. After the first hard frost, the plant can be cut back to the ground. A heavy application of mulch is beneficial.
