Jamaican Callaloo Amaranth Plants offers a flavor described as smoother and rounder in taste than spinach and with a distinct, savory taste all its own! It's broad, tender leaves are used as a nutritious additive to a large variety of dishes. Harvest it early and often. Amaranth grows best in full sun locations with moist soil; however, it can tolerate some drought.

Comment: My callaloo is taking off like a rocket. It has tripled in size. Can't ask for more! Try it and you won't be disappointed. Saute with onions, bell peppers, garlic and fresh chopped tomatoes. The best spinach ever!

Comment: The plant arrived at the stated time, easy transaction, it was packed well and was in great condition. I do not like that the tomato plants I ordered were not delivered along with the rest of my order. I received two different communications after the fact. One stated that the crop failed and the other, that they sold out. I was quickly refunded after I noticed the short and emailed them.
