Plant Features
Japanese Red Shield Fern, commonly called 'Autumn' due to its coloration; though the pinky-orangey-coppery color appears in the spring, not in the fall. A somewhat untidy fern, the growth can appear tangled, but is prized by those gardeners who like their gardens to grow "au naturale".
