Jewel of Desert Garnet Delosperma bears a daisy-like blossom with slender petals radiating outward from a yellow center with a white halo. The luminous halo changes to pink before the showy garnet tips complete this lovely showoff. With succulent leaves, plant the Garnet Jewel of Desert Ice Plant in rock gardens, containers or hard-to-water places for non-stop, evergreen beauty from late spring through the first frost. We love this species for water-wise gardening and for its fantastic salt-tolerance!
