Kentucky Colonel Mint is a variety of spearmint and is most often used in Mint Juleps. It can also be used in teas, jellies, and sauces. Mint is easy to grow and does well in full to part sun locations with moist soil. Plants can be aggressive if planted in the soil. They do great in containers. Pollinators love the flowers. It can be grown indoors within a few feet of a east, south, or west facing window. Indoor plants should be watered just as the potting mix starts to dry.

Comment: The Kentucky Mint has grown very nicely. Can't wait to try it. Very fragrant. Some brown spots but it sits under the umbrella of a tree so I think the insects are getting to it.
