Plant Features

Kodiak® Black Diervilla is one of the best shade-tolerant shrubs and produces non-stop yellow trumpet-shaped blooms all summer long. It is a beautiful, easy choice for landscaping for any light condition, full sun, part sun, or full shade; however, it offers its best color with full or part sun. This easy to grow bush honeysuckle is non-evasive and will grow in a wide range of soil types. It is drought tolerant once established.

Comment: I planted five Diervilla Monday during a light rain. A shipping error sent the plants touring VA for days. The background stumps are 19” high. I sheltered their roots with bark and here are our babies 4 days after arriving bent and dried. Tough plants, good packing!
