Low Scape® Mound Aronia are low-growing ground-cover plants that produce multi-season interest. In the spring they offer mounds of glossy green foliage with hundreds of dainty white flowers, the flowers turn to black berries in the summer which is followed by the foliage turning an intense red in the fall. The berries are bitter in flavor until they are ripe; but tend to sweeten after a freeze. It blooms on old wood. This tough shrub can be grown just about anywhere as it tolerates a wide range of conditions, hot or cold, wet or dry, and full sun or part shade. You can't go wrong with this one. Low Scape Mound provides landscape beauty from spring through frost. Aronia plants attract wildlife.
