Midnight Marvel Hardy Hibiscus Plants off eye-catching petals of brilliant scarlet red set against deep wine-hued foliage that carries weight and texture, the overall effect is a stunning display of red tones. For full effect, the foliage requires plenty of sun to achieve a dark purple color. The multitude of buds ensures an extended bloom time. Lovely as an accent plant, or at the back of the bed or border. Hardy Hibiscus plants thrive in full sun locations with moist-wet, nutrient rich soil. Stems should be cut back in late winter. They are late to break ground in the spring.

Comment: They were shipped well and had good established roots ....now it is time to see what these healthy plants do under my care. Seem to be doing great for 2 weeks after planting ...did not even show signs of wilting..and it this hot southern sun...that is amazing.
