Now Cheesier Echinacea offers intense, cheddar-colored flowers with orangey-green cones that rise above a well-branched, bushy plant. Color only fading slightly towards the end of the season. Orange isn't just for fall anymore - cut this beauty and add to your mixed summer vases! Coneflowers grow well in flower beds, containers, pollinator gardens, rock gardens, prairie gardens and xeriscape gardens.

Now Cheesier Echinacea Plant Care Instructions: Only water if the plant starts looking droopy. Spent flowers should NOT be trimmed back if you want to attract songbirds as they enjoy the dried seed heads. Cut it back to the ground in late winter or early spring before the new growth starts. Spring is a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.

Comment: I HAVE 2 OTHER VARIETIES OF THE YELLOW AND THIS ONE WILL ADD TO MY COLLECTION. I ORDERED 8 DIFFERENT COLORS ALL TOGETHER. THE FLOWERS DID NOT OPEN YET SINCE I ONLY HAVE THEM PLANTED A WEEK BUT I AM ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE BLOOMS TO OPEN.
