Peach Blossom Astilbe is an old-fashioned favorite with its wide panicles of pinkish-peach blooms that appear in late spring and early summer atop its medium green leaves. The lacy foliage is glossier than many other varieties. An excellent choice for cut flower arrangements. Peach Blossom ships as a bare root. We like growing from bare roots because they establish quickly, become twice the size of a potted plant in the first season, and eliminate the need for plastic pots (a win for the environment).
Common Names: false spirea, false goat's beard
Astilbe Companion Plants: Ferns, Helleborus, Hosta
Peach Blossom Astilbe Plant Care Instructions: Plants should never allow to dry out. The spent flowers can be removed or left on for garden interest. Foliage can be trimmed back to the 2-inchs above the ground in early winter.
