Phlox are native wildflowers that produce mounds of delicate, star-shaped blooms from summer to early fall. It's a pollinator magnet! There are two types of phlox: creeping phlox, and garden phlox. Creeping phlox produce low-growing, spreading plants while garden phlox produce moderately tall plants. Phlox grow best in moist, well-drained soils with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. It is a perennial in zones 4 - 8.
