Pineapple Sage offers leaves with the scent and flavor of freshly cut pineapples, making it useful for hot and cold beverages as well as salads and traditional cooking. Sage grows best in full sun with well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant once established. Hummingbirds love its red late season flowers! It can be grown indoors next to a south facing window. If grown indoors, potting mix should slightly dry before watering.

Comment: I had Pineapple Sage previously that reseeded, but not this year. I look forward to blooms in a few weeks on this large plant. I put it in a large pot so I can bring it indoors for the winter.
