Prairie Sun Rudbeckia Plants produce stunning 6-inch daisy-like sunny yellow flowers with pastel orange halos and green eyes. It is best grown as an annual but may self-sow. They grow best in full sun and well-drained soil. Deadheading to encourage prolific bloom, leaving some of the last seed heads to remain for winter food for seed eating wild birds. Black-eyed Susan plants attracts butterflies while deer avoid them!

Comment: When I first got this plant I put it in a container, part sun. I think it likes full sun. I planted it in the ground & the next day the rabbits got it. I'm hoping it will come back. Beautiful blooms, smaller flowers than Irish Eyes but very striking! Zone 9
