The Clematis Princess Diana Vining Plant is a unique variety of clematis that has flowers similar to what you would expect from a cross between a tulip and a lily, rather than like the more common Clematis blossom. The blooms open slowly, first looking like trumpet-shaped dual-toned, pink flowers, and then open out fully to a 4-petalled blossom with widely separated petals. The petals are deep, vivid pink with generous, pale, blush pink margins. Graced with creamy yellow anthers, these flowers put on quite a show, continuing into the fall and winter when the flowers give way to silky-looking seed heads.
