Plant Features

The Prismacolor™ Lemon Lime Philodendron is known for its bright yellow-green leaves with a lime green stripe down the center. It is a fast-growing plant that can reach heights of 36 inches or more. It is a relatively easy-care plant that is tolerant of a wide range of light conditions. It prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate some direct sunlight. It should be watered regularly, but allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. It is non-toxic to humans and pets. It blooms in the spring or summer with small, white flowers.

Care Tips for Your Prismacolor™ Lemon Lime PhilodendronPlant

  • Light: It prefers bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Keep evenly moist, but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. If a small pot, allow just the top to dry.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix.
  • Temperature: The ideal temperature range is 60-85°F (15-29°C).
  • Humidity: High humidity is preferred. Mist the leaves every couple of days or place the plant on a pebble tray with water if you have a dry environment.
  • Fertilization: Fertilize every 2-3 months during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer.
  • Pet Friendly: NO
  • Pests and Diseases: They generally quite resistant to pest; however, if you notice any pests, treat them with an insecticidal soap or neem oil.
  • Troubleshooting: If the color of the leaves are washing out, it may be a sign of overwatering. Allow the soil to dry out more between waterings. If the leaves are wilted up, it may be a sign of underwatering. Water the plant more frequently.

With proper care, the Prismacolor™ Lemon Lime Philodendron hybrid will thrive for many years to come.
