"Struggles in high heat"

Comment: This plant drops all of her pretty flowers when the temp rises above 90F. They tend to do poorly the first year, but much to my surprise two potted lobularia survived the winter and started blooming during a third snowstorm! She grew big and bushy and bloomed from Feb until the extreme heat hit. These are great plants for early blooms or moderate heat climates.

Comment: This plant has the most adorable tiny clusters of bright purple, pink, and white flowers that smell wonderful and attract the bees. Despite it smelling like honey, the leaves and flowers are edible and add a peppery/mustard-like flavor to salads or marinades, since it's in the mustard family. The delicate foliage was yellowed and wilted when the plant arrived, but it perked right up in a day or two after potting and watering in well.
