Rainbow Rhythm® Storm Shelter Hemerocallis Plant Care: Besides apply water if the plant starts looking droopy (which is practically never), there is not much else this plant needs. The flower stalks can be cut back after the plant is done blooming for the season. Dividing daylilies is not necessary unless you don't want them spreading. Division can be done in early fall when the foliage is being cut back to the ground.
