Our Ruby Slippers Hydrangea Plant is an Oakleaf hydrangea with astounding color, not only on its astronomically large 9 inch flower spires, but on its astoundingly large oak-shaped leaves. First, the blossoms start out white! Yes, you heard right, they're white before changing to pink and then blushing brightly with ruby hues. And then, the foliage emerges light spring-green, morphing to deep, forest green, before putting on its fall wardrobe of opulent russet. Comment: My Ruby Slippers Oakleaf Hydrangeas arrived in great condition as they were very well packed. I just planted them, so I haven's seen any new growth, but I will return to post a review once they've grown a bit.
