Salsa Lantana Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 4-5 weeks. To maximize growth and performance of your plant, keep the soil moist and fertilizer every 7-10 days with a water-soluble fertilizer. If you are in zones 9-11, plants should be cut back by 3/4 each spring. All other zones should discard the plants once the season is over.
