Raspberry Surprise Dianthus Plant produces a profusion of double pink, frilly blossoms with a deep raspberry-red center. Truly striking, the blossoms sit atop blue-green slender, grass-like foliage and are wonderfully fragrant. Its compact growing habit makes it a perfect flower for borders, rock gardens, ground cover and containers. Dianthus thrive in sunny locations with well-drained soils. Light afternoon shade can be helpful in the very southern gardens. Butterflies are attracted to these plants.

Comment: I am greatly pleased with the speed of delivery and the health of the plants. They are in the ground and getting watered daily as instructed by the nursery. Now to get them through the winter and see what spring brings. I am excited. If there is a failure or problem down the road with the plants, I will repost, but as of now, everything is perfect - including the weather.

Comment: I ordered 2 different Dianthus and both arrived healthy and well-packaged. Beautiful plants that attract bees and butterflies. I can't wait for them to bloom and neither can the occasional bee coming by to check on them!
