Scent First™ Sugar Plum Dianthus

The Dianthus Scent First™ Sugar Plum Garden Pinks Plant is the result of innovative breeding practices by Whetman Pinks®. As the series name implies, Sugar Plum has been bred for its spicy, stimulating fragrance, but also for its stunning, eye-catching appearance. Luscious lipstick-pink double blossoms are decorated with raspberry accents, sometimes almost covering the whole blossom and sometimes providing more understated decoration. Back-dropped by dark bluish-green foliage and stems, the color of the blooms on this Sweet William is quite arresting and sure to attract plenty of attention. Our coastal gardeners are singing its praises too; it has exceptional salt tolerance.
