Plant Features

Scentropia™ Dark Blue Heliotrope Plants produce intensely fragrant, truly blue flowers with amazing saturated coloring! This well branched plant offers large blooms making it perfect for containers and combos. Depending upon the age of the flower, the color may range from rich sapphire blue to deep, blue violet. Heliotrope are easy to grow, drought and heat tolerant, deer and rabbits avoid them, and hummingbirds, butterflies, and other insect pollinators are attracted to them. They are not pet friendly.

Heliotrope Plant Care Instructions: The plant appreciates moist soil, fertilizer applications every 2-3 weeks, and removal of the spent blooms to produce best. It is grown as an annual in all zones except 9-11 where it will overwinter.

Beautiful blooms

Plants arrived healthy. They were already in bloom. We’ve had blistering heat with a lot of rain. Plants are still going strong.

As always the plants arrived in great shape due to the awesome packaging, gotta love GrowJoy. The heliotrope has grown quickly and the dark green foliage a blue purple blooms are beautiful however the smell is FANTASTIC! This my new favorite 👍

Awesome packaging for my Scentropia Heliotrope.

My Scentropia Helitrope arrived today. Packaged beautifully and quick delivery. I am very impressed with this nursery and their amazing customer service. I must have bugged them a zillion times in reference to my plants and not one time was any of the employees that I spoke to irritated by my questions.
