The Astilbe Sprite False Spirea Plant is a dwarf variety that produces atypical fine, light single spires of tiny blooms atop glossy medium to dark-green foliage. The Sprite's blossoms tend to be somewhat abstract with pale pink plumes that reach out in every direction. Nip the plumes when they fade to enjoy a pleasingly-colored ground cover, or let the faded seed heads remain for architectural interest. You can have it both ways with this False Spirea!
