Plant Features
Starfighter Oriental Lilies are a unique variety with blooms that come later than other types. These star-shaped flowers are highly fragrant and perfect for cutting. They require a rich and moist soil with an acidic pH, similar to that of Rhododendrons. The tall plants produce eye-catching flowers with crimson petals rimmed in white and dotted with burgundy spots.

Starfighter Lily Plant Care Instructions: Apply mulch around the plant after it sprouts in the spring to maintain cool and moist roots. Use a high-potassium fertilizer every three weeks until 6 weeks after flowering. Keep the foliage in place after blooming to allow for photosynthesis and strengthen the bulb. Cut the foliage back to the ground when the leaves turn yellow in late fall.
