Starfire Tall Phlox Plant is one of the most beautiful deep red Phlox varieties. A more shrubby type of Phlox, the flowers grow more in a ball-shaped mound than in a dome shape, adding not only a striking splash of color, but architectural interest as well. Starfire has denser and smaller foliage of a bronzy-green color and a compact growing habit that will be a great addition to your garden. Even when the time for blooming is past, Starfire, looking more like a woody shrub than like its upright perennial cousins, will still be attractive. Known to attract butterflies!
Companion Planting: Aster, Echinacea, Eupatorium, Fuchsia, Geranium, Salvia
